Grace and peace to you from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our mission at St. Mary's is four fold:
We are called to proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ, to form our lives into the image of Christ, to serve our neighbors in the name of Christ, and to invite our neighbors into fellowship with Christ.
We are not a finished product, but we are a dedicated community of people who have committed, and are commiting, our lives to Jesus Christ.
We are learning what it means to be a Christian community in the 21st century. Our journey is blessed by a rich spiritual heritage that dates back to those who first followed Jesus and learned to call him, "Lord". Our journey is also blessed by the continuing presence of God's Holy Spirit who leads us into truth.
As Episcopalians, we believe that God has given us the Holy Scriptures, the Church's tradition, and divinely guided reason as gifts to discern the presence and direction of God in our lives. We believe that human dignity is based upon the fact that we have been created in the image of God, and that the depth of God's love is revealed to us on the Cross of our Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that the resurrection of our Lord not only offers us the promise of eternal life, but the promise of a present life that is free from fear.
Our Sunday worship focuses on God's most wonderful hospitality. Each week we gather to break bread together, to receive nourishment for our journey. However, it is important for you to know that we do not live for ourselves. We live for those who are not a part of our fellowship in Christ. Therefore, if you are visiting this website and do not have a place that you call home, we invite you to share in our fellowship and become a part of a community of faith that seeks to glorify Jesus Christ and to change the world one life at a time.
